Alastair Duhs is a qualified psychotherapist and counsellor who has worked in the Stopping Violence field for over 20 years. In additon to being the Clinical Manager of NHLWV, he currently run Men’s Stopping Violence programmes, sees men individually and conducts couples counselling. He has been a member of the New Zealand Association of Counsellors since 2000. In his spare time he competes in Ironman Triathlon, plays chess and is a keen amateur astronomer.
